Having appeared briefly on the London live circuit a couple of years ago, dream-pop purveyors Drug Store Romeos have been holed up in their hometown of Fleet beavering away towards bigger and better things. Since forming almost 3 years ago, the trio's debut single 'Now You're Moving' is a dazzling leap forward from their tentative albeit incredibly promising early whisperings. Channelling a self-described dream pop trip hop vibe, the atmospheric track conjures echoes of seminal artists from Broadcast to Portishead. With vocalist/bassist Sarah Downie's celestial vocals sending tingles down your spine, Johnny Gilbert's psychedelic drumming style sits high in the mix, providing movement and stability to the otherwise lucid soundscape. Arriving alongside a sensory video directed by producer and SLOW DANCE head honcho Glows, the clip see's the threesome bathed in a fuzzy blue hue as rotating mobiles come to life.
